About

A diary of the news, culture, business, and people of the Harley-Davidson world.

It started out with a visit to the newly opened Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, a town I’ve lived for most of the past twenty years. But looking at many of the existing resources of information on the world of Harley-Davidson, I found that many of the sources suffered from being either too close (motorcycle magazines or hometown newspapers) or too distant (the cliche-obsessed and often clueless nationa media) to provide meaningful, unbiased context or analysis of the events surrounding this powerful cultural phenomenon.

About Me
I’ve been riding motorcycles for more than twenty five years, and have been a Harley-Davidson (V-Rod) owner since 2002. I’ve enjoyed many thousands of miles of quiet, safe, fun riding on a variety of different bikes.
